Nestled in the lush, culturally rich area of Musashino—beloved by authors like Osamu Dazai and Dokusho Kokida—we carefully consider your health, safety, environment, and convenience. Our residence dormitories are located within easy commuting distance to major campuses.

Each facility is staffed by a resident manager, acting as your supportive guardian in Tokyo. Our meals are prepared by experienced chefs and overseen by a dedicated nutritionist, ensuring delicious and nutritious breakfasts and dinners.

Free Airport Shuttle Service

Free of Charge

Convenient transportation from the airport to each dormitory!
For those arriving on designated dates, we provide a complimentary shuttle bus service from the airport to Tohjin Student Dormitories.
For details about the meeting location and time, our staff will contact you via e-mail.

Resident Registration Service

Free of Charge

To live in Japan, you must register your residence at the city office within 14 days of your arrival.
At Tohjin Student Dormitories, we provide support for those who may feel uncertain about the registration process directly or via e-mail.
For those who prefer in-person assistance, our staff will accompany you to the city office to guide you through the registration.
Additionally, if you encounter any issues after moving in, feel free to reach out to us through e-mail for assistance.

Internet Services

Every room at Tohjin Student Dormitory is equipped with Wi-Fi (excluding some apartments).
For students who want immediate internet access upon arrival or need to use communication devices while out, we offer an overseas SIM card service.

We are pleased to offer a special water dispenser plan for international students residing at Tohjin Student Dormitories.

Delicious and Healthy Dining by Expert Staff

We provide meals from Monday to Saturday (excluding Sundays and national holidays).
Our specialized staff prepares nutritious and delicious menus with a strong focus on hygiene.
With carefully selected ingredients, we serve balanced meals for breakfast and dinner, ensuring that your diet remains healthy and well-regulated while living alone.

Flexible Dining Options

Our reservation system allows you to enjoy meals until 11:00 AM for breakfast and until 11:00 PM for dinner.
This flexibility means you can relax even if your school schedule or club activities make you return late.
You can also request meals from outside until 30 minutes before the meal time ends.

First Impressions of the Student House

I first discovered the dormitory through its website, where the resident's guidebook outlined numerous rules, giving me an initial impression of a very strict environment.
However, once I moved in, my perception completely changed.
The staff and managers were incredibly welcoming and supportive, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere that was quite the opposite of what I had expected.

What was good, what I like about this place, and what I would recommend.

What I love most about the dormitory is its peaceful location and the well-maintained, private single rooms that include a bathroom/shower and a kitchen.
The combination of a serene environment, helpful staff, and courteous residents makes living here a pleasure.
The dorm also provides various amenities like laundry services, and rentals for vacuum cleaners, irons, and hairdryers, making life much more convenient without the need to visit coin laundries or purchase these items yourself.

Free event

I had the opportunity to participate in the Waseda vs. Keio baseball game-watching event hosted by the dorm.
We got to sit in the special cheerleading section and interact with Waseda's students and the cheerleading team.
The game was exciting and enjoyable, I have to say it was one of the best baseball game experiences of my life.

Good points about entering the student center

The dormitory manager is extremely kind.
She is always ready to assist residents with any kind of help they need, ensuring a supportive living environment.

Meal

The dormitory offers breakfast and dinner on most days, which is a huge convenience for residents like me who don't have time to prepare meals.
The food is delicious, and you can eat as much as you want.
I highly recommend their noodles; they're as good as those served in ramen shops.

Future Dreams

I aspire to work on Wall Street.
My time here over the past few months has been very enjoyable, and I could see myself returning to Japan in the future to work as an international employee.

Other Opinions

Initially, I found the commute from the dorm to the Waseda campus to be a bit challenging.
However, once I figured out the best departure times and train routes, the commute became smooth and manageable.
At the end of the day, the high quality of life and amenities provided here far outweigh any minor inconveniences encountered during the commute.
